BDF checked out the Midtown Food Truck Fest at Valley View Mall this weekend.
It seemed like the heat might have scared a few trucks off, but there was still a good assortment of trucks to choose from. One truck that got a lot of action was the Coolhaus Ice Cream Truck. Their cookie ice cream sandwiches were in high demand!
We checked out the chili cheese dog with fritos from Eat Jo’s Dawgs, and it was delicious!
We also checked out a few sliders from The Butcher’s Son. From left to right we have the The Mama Mia Homemade Meatball, Marinara Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, Tomato & Fresh Basil on a Brioche slider; The Southern Bell Chipotle Mont. Jack Chicken Sausage, Fresh Onion, Cheddar & BBQ sauce on a Brioche slider roll; and the Southern Hospitality Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenderloin, Garlic Potato spread & White Country Gravy on a Brioche slider roll. All of these were delicious!
